The Gateway City Intercessors are called specifically to “Stand In The Gap” for the Body of Christ. They pray unceasingly, doing spiritual warfare and fervent intercession.
Believing that Jesus bought our healing and deliverance on the cross, and also believing that the enemy of our souls, Satan, desires to keep us from the freedom that Christ purchased for us, we, at Gateway City, conduct a very special ministry for those members who need healing and deliverance.
Healing Rooms
The Healing Room ministry brings healing to the body, mind, soul and spirit. An atmosphere filled with His presence opens the way for God to do the miraculous. Many have been set free to walk into the destiny God has ordained for them. Lives have totally been changed. This ministry is by appointment only. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Because we believe this truth, the Media Ministry prepares CDs and tapes for sale after each service of the weekly sermons; a selection of Pastors Roger and Teresa McPhail's sermon series and selected topics are also available; The Friendship Club is another arm of the Media Ministry. Overcomers is a fellowship of men and women who are dealing with problems such as alcohol, drugs, nicotine, overeating, depression and anxiety, fears, anger, gambling, lust, family problems and all situations which you or a loved one cannot deal with successfully.
Effective prayer is not only offered by the pastor of a church or its elders but by individuals who feel a calling to prayer. At Gateway City, a team of people has been assembled who have such a calling and constantly keep the leaders and congregation lifted up in prayer.
The Brooklyn House of Prayer (BKHoP) is committed to saturating the city of New York with worship and intercession to see the spiritual climate change, allowing the presence of God to reign and the Church to take dominion in the earth. We, at Gateway City, encourage, strengthen and empower women to move in their giftings with confidence and authority. At the quarterly breakfast meetings, we deal with such issues as rejection, broken hearts, callings to leadership and empowerment.
Our worship & creative arts ministry teams are talented individuals that participate in the Worship Team, Seasons Chorale, Dance Teams, Audio/Visual & Media Departments.
